Updated October 05, 2018 12:54:10 A simple trick to saving money on your water, electricity and gas bills has been developed by a pair of Australian academics.
Water and energy company Purewick System is a provider of residential and commercial fixed line systems, as well as energy storage.
The researchers at the University of New South Wales have created an app called Purewick Grid that provides a “solution for the energy cost of water and electricity”, according to the company.
“It gives you an idea of how much you need to save, as you can use it to compare the various costs,” Purewick said in a statement.
“We want to give customers the tools to save and plan their homes and businesses.”
The app shows you how much water, for example, a home or business needs for a single household, and the cost of electricity for a household, according to Purewick.
“You can use the grid to compare costs and make your own savings, and save money,” the company said.
“When you compare different costs you can see if you have the right equipment or appliances, which can be used to save on your electricity bills.”
The researchers’ app was recently launched on the Purewick website and is now available to download.
It was developed by the University’s Institute of Energy and Resources Management and is being used by the company’s customers.
The app allows users to compare energy costs across different homes, businesses and homes.
“What we’ve found is that there are two types of consumers out there,” Purerick said.
“They’re consumers who have energy problems, and then they’re people who are trying to save a bit of money and then try and save some of the energy that goes into making the system run.”
The developers also recommend that people check their own energy bills, as there is no specific tool available for the purposes of comparison.
“The idea behind the app is to give people the tools and tools to compare their energy costs and see if they’re in the right price bracket, and if they need to make changes to their energy use,” Purewicks CEO Nick Paine said.
The Purewick app also gives users a list of their water, gas and electricity providers, along with the types of equipment they use.
“This way you can compare different energy sources, and we think it’ll be helpful for people,” Mr Paine added.
“Our research has shown that people are often in the middle of a transition, so there are a lot of factors that go into making a decision like that.”
