The news channel has become the top guide for Australian households, according to data from Nielsen.ABC News 24 is the No. 1 guide for Australia, with a 3.4 per cent share of the market.
The ABC News app was the No 1 guide in Australia, followed by The Age.
The new Nielsen data shows a 5.5 per cent increase in the number of Australian households subscribing to the ABC News 24 TV Guide.
That is more than double the 3.3 per cent decline seen in the same time period last year.
The rise is largely driven by a 1.4 million new households subscribing, the highest ever.ABC managing director of TV and digital, Simon Corbett, said: “The ABC News channel is a great addition to Australia’s growing digital household.”
It’s the best news, analysis and entertainment service on television.
“He added that it was a major part of ABC News and was a natural fit for the network.
The New York Times is a digital publication that was launched in 2017 and offers digital access to over 30 newspapers, magazines and news websites.
The Times also offers a print edition and a digital subscription service that gives users access to digital content for free.
The Times’ digital service is also available in English and in Spanish.
